Samantha (Sam) Sewell is the Conference and Events Program Director at the BlueGreen Alliance.

Sam has eight years of event planning experience and has organized events across the country including fundraising events, voter outreach events and national and regional conferences. Prior to her work at the BlueGreen Alliance, Sam worked as the Executive Coordinator to the President at NARAL Pro-Choice America, a National Campus Organizer with the Feminist Majority Foundation, and the Youth Program Director at the Gender Public Advocacy Coalition. 

In addition to her paid work, Sam has held volunteer leadership roles including Chapter Director of the Younger Women's Task Force: DC Metro, a Membership Ambassador for the Women's Information Network, and Chair of the Arlington Commission on the Status of Women.
