Right now, Congress is sitting on critical tax incentives for renewable energy that would create thousands of jobs and boost American competitiveness in the global economy.
The 48C grant created jobs, spurred investment in clean energy and helped the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This widely successful program expired at the end of 2011, but to create more jobs for American workers, we should renew it.
