David Foster is the executive director of the Blue Green Alliance, the fast-growing national partnership between labor unions and environmental organizations dedicated to expanding the number and quality of jobs in the green economy. Launched by the United Steelworkers and Sierra Club in 2006, BGA has since grown to include CWA, NRDC, SEIU, LIUNA, UWUA, AFT ATU and the Sheet Metal Workers - uniting more than eight and a half million people in pursuit of good jobs, a clean environment and a green economy.
