In August 2008, the Blue Green Alliance organized a bus tour of clean energy solutions at work in Bucks County. Over 60 people jumped on the bus to learn more about energy conservation measures at Newtown Elementary School, geothermal at Bucks County Community College-Bristol, the third largest solar field in the United States at the Exelon-Epuron Solar Energy Center and the Gamesa wind turbine manufacturing facility.
