The BlueGreen Alliance also provides staff and resources to support the work of its sister organization, the BlueGreen Alliance Foundation, an independent, non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization that conducts research and educates the public and media about solutions to environmental challenges that create economic opportunities for the American people.

Its programs include the Clean Energy Manufacturing Center (CEMC) — a "one-stop shop" on the development of clean energy strategies for public officials and small manufacturers looking to participate in supply chains in the growing wind power and solar energy sectors.
