The BlueGreen Alliance also provides staff and resources to support the work of its sister organization, the BlueGreen Alliance Foundation, an independent, non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization that conducts research and educates the public and media about solutions to environmental challenges that create economic opportunities for the American people.

Its programs include GreenPOWER — a job training program that teaches workers to bring energy efficiencies, environmental awareness, waste reduction, and lean production techniques to work in the green economy.
