HEALTH INITIATIVES MANAGER
Racquel Segall serves as the Health Initiatives Manager for the BlueGreen Alliance. Her day-to-day activities include both program and policy work. She works on chemical policy reform in addition to various health programs including educating workers on health and safety issues in the work place, upgrading ChemHat, expanding the “Putting Breast Cancer Out of Work” trainings, and adding more content on the health impacts of chemicals used in energy efficient building materials.
Prior to joining the BlueGreen Alliance, Racquel has interned with various organizations including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, FracTracker Alliance and the Pennsylvania Federal Public Defenders office.
Racquel has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of Maryland- College Park, and a Master’s in Public Health focused in Environmental and Occupational Health from the University of Pittsburgh.
