Mia Veltri is a Policy Manager for Clean Vehicles with the BlueGreen Alliance, where she manages policy initiatives to advance clean vehicle technologies and promote domestic manufacturing, job growth, and equitable outcomes for workers and communities.

Prior to joining BlueGreen Alliance, Mia worked for the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) where she drafted and implemented regulations focused on transit worker safety, developed agency wide priorities for transitioning transit fleets to clean energy, and managed FTA’s Low and No Emission Bus Grant Program. Mia also served as a Policy Advisor for vehicles and advanced transportation at BlueGreen Alliance from 2018-2019.

Mia has previously held roles at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the United States House of Representatives, and the Wisconsin Innocence Project. She is a graduate of both DePaul University, and the University of Wisconsin Law School.
