Abby Harvey joined the BlueGreen Alliance in January 2018 serving as Senior Communications Associate and moved into the role of Deputy Director of Communications in 2021. Prior to her work with the alliance, Abby spent six years as a journalist, first in small-town community journalism in Plymouth, Wisconsin, and then covering the energy and environment beat for ExchangeMonitor and Access Intelligence in Washington, D.C.

After reporting on climate change and other environmental issues for nearly four years, Abby became passionate about the area and decided it was time to start actively working to find pragmatic solutions to some of the world’s most pressing issues.
