Margaret Korinek serves as a Digital Communications Associate for BlueGreen Alliance, responsible for managing the digital media and communications efforts of the organization. She works to grow the team’s external communications and engage audiences with BlueGreen’s mission.

Margaret graduated from George Washington University in Spring 2024 with a BA in Political Communication and a minor in Film Studies. Her previous work experience includes strategic communications with the American Red Cross, the Department of Commerce, Iridium Satellite Communications, and Cogent Strategies.

During her undergraduate career, Margaret served as Director of Public Relations for her university’s television station GW-TV in addition to working as a radio show host for Washington District Radio. These experiences help grow her expertise in various forms of multimedia and advocacy.

At BlueGreen Alliance, Margaret is passionate about advocating for safe jobs and sustainability efforts within the energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure sectors.
