The INVEST in America Act (H.R. 3684) commits $715 billion towards upgrading our transportation infrastructure, while reauthorizing underlying federal programs and shaping them to serve the needs of all Americans.

When it comes to buildings, the American Jobs Plan charts a strong path forward by highlighting the key areas within the buildings sector that can make a significant impact in addressing all three intersecting crises: climate change, racial inequality and economic equality.

The economic and environmental success of the nationwide transition to cleaner vehicles hinge on the extent to which decision-makers prioritize domestic EV manufacturing and good jobs as a part of a robust EV policy agenda, and a broader clean transportation agenda.

We need an infrastructure bill that will match the scope of our aspirations and needs as a country, so that we will not continue to fall behind. We can choose to build top-flight transportation systems, and the AJP is a strong blueprint to do so.
