Hillary Bright rejoins the BlueGreen Alliance from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) where she worked as an economic development specialist on Secretary Moniz’s Jobs Strategy Council. While at DOE, she worked on economic development opportunities on a range of energy sources including wind, solar, nuclear and carbon capture utilization and storage. Prior to her work at DOE, she spent the past seven years with the Sierra Club and the BlueGreen Alliance as an organizer on labor, environment and energy issues.
Hillary holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from Juniata College and a Master’s of Science degree in Urban and Regional Planning with a focus on natural resources from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
She is a native of Central Pennsylvania where her father owns a fly-fishing business and her mother was a life long member of SEIU.
