Pesach Chananiah, PhD is grateful to be spearheading the program and policy work of the BlueGreen Alliance as Nevada Policy Organizer. He has worked in social justice and organizing initiatives in Nevada and California, from a leading union for healthcare workers to an environmental health campaign around air quality. Pesach has also taught youth and adults in a wide variety of contexts, including wilderness rites of passage, yoga, and mindfulness.

Pesach completed his PhD in Depth Psychology with emphasis in Community, Liberation, and Ecopsychology—where his research focused on community organizing strategies, transformative pedagogy, and relational empowerment. He brings to all of his work a tending of soul in and of the world.
