Congress Must Keep Momentum to Fund Government, Pass COVID-19 Relief by Year’s End
The United States Senate today passed a continuing resolution, funding the government for one week until a final appropriations bill and other year-end items can be agreed upon. In response, the BlueGreen Alliance released the following statement from Executive Director Jason Walsh.

“It’s a holiday miracle. We finally have proof Republicans in the Senate are capable of passing legislation. Congress should build on the momentum of today’s vote and deliver on a comprehensive package providing desperately needed COVID-19 relief for working families and other critical end of year items remaining under negotiation, including fully funding the government.”
