Green Recovery: Pennsylvania Could Gain 86,000 Jobs

The state of Pennsylvania could gain 86,000 jobs with a rapid investment in the green economy, according to a report released at a Scranton press conference on September 9.

“Green Recovery,” a report by the Center for American Progress and the Political Economy Research Institute at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and released with the Green Jobs for America campaign, showed that Pennsylvania could gain more than 86,000 jobs with a rapid investment in green infrastructure. In addition to the town hall event, the Pennsylvania report was with several partners at a press conference in Scranton and on a statewide press conference call.
