New Organizing Drive Puts Workers Front and Center in Move to Cleaner Economy
The United Steelworkers (USW) and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) have announced a campaign to organize workers at a Tesla solar facility in Buffalo, New York. In response to this effort, the BlueGreen Alliance released a statement from Executive Director Kim Glas:

“Building a clean economy in our nation is an opportunity to make sure the economy works for everyone.
“We applaud and support the workers at the Tesla facility seeking to make sure their voices are heard in their workplace and the announcement by USW and IBEW. Workers in the clean economy deserve to have fair wages and benefits and safe and healthy jobs and unions are vital to making sure workers have the bargaining power to achieve that.”
