BlueGreen Alliance Opposes Nomination of Eugene Scalia as Secretary of Labor
The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions meets today to consider the nomination of Eugene Scalia to be U.S. Secretary of Labor.

The BlueGreen Alliance and several labor and environmental partners sent a letter to the committee urging it to oppose Scalia’s nomination.
In response to today’s hearing, the BlueGreen Alliance released the following statement from Executive Director Jason Walsh:
“Eugene Scalia has built his career endangering, dismissing, and cheating American workers. His nomination is a betrayal of the Department of Labor, its mission, and our nation’s workforce.”
