The BlueGreen Alliance and several labor and environmental partners sent a letter to the committee urging it to oppose Scalia’s nomination. In response to today’s hearing, the BlueGreen Alliance released the following statement from Executive Director Jason Walsh: “Eugene Scalia has built his career endangering, dismissing, and cheating American workers. His nomination is a betrayal of the Department of Labor, its mission, and our nation’s workforce.”
