Former Michigan Congressman and BlueGreen Alliance Jobs21! National Co-Chair Mark Schauer led a roundtable discussion today at the Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) to urge Michigan to invest in its transportation systems.

Senator Debbie Stabenow joined local labor, environmental and business leaders in Lansing to release the new GreenMAP clean energy manufacturing plan for Michigan.

The Michigan Green Manufacturing Action Plan: Next Steps in a Clean Energy Manufacturing Policy” provides a road map for smart state-level policies that will create good manufacturing job creation in the state.

After the Obama administration took the next step with its plan to increase fuel efficiency standards, BlueGreen Alliance Executive Director David Foster said it is the right step to take at the right time to help save consumers money at the gas pump.
