Ben Davis
FEDERAL POLICY MANAGER
Ben Davis is a Federal Policy Manager with the BlueGreen Alliance, where he handles carbon management policy development and advocacy efforts, and works on implementation of carbon reduction technologies in the industrial sector.
Ben comes to the BlueGreen Alliance from Oceana’s climate and energy team, where he coordinated advocacy efforts and partnered with small businesses, local stakeholders, and other allies in support of ocean protections from the expansion of offshore oil drilling. Before that, Ben worked for the Environmental Protection Network to advocate for strong environmental and health protection rules at the EPA. He has also been an organizer for the Democratic Party of Virginia in Portsmouth, Virginia and has worked at Democracy Partners to plan issue-based grassroots advocacy campaigns across the country.
Amid his years in school, Ben organized climate action on campus and he co-founded Blue Future, a youth-led organization focused on equipping young people with the skills needed to organize and campaign in their communities.
Ben graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Justice Systems.
