Eric Steen joined the BlueGreen Alliance in August of 2009 as the Deputy Communications Director and became Director of Communications in March 2014.

Eric brings over a decade of substantive media relations and communications experience to the BlueGreen Alliance, promoting the organization’s efforts to create quality jobs and a fair and strong economy by tackling America’s largest environmental challenges.

He previously spent six years as Media Relations Liaison for the Minnesota State Senate, working with Senators to inform the public about a variety of issues. He has also worked as a News Director for a radio station in Minnesota.
