Sarah Giltz is the Director of Offshore Wind at the BlueGreen Alliance (BGA) where she leads national policy development and strategy related to offshore wind energy.

Sarah came to BGA in 2023 from Oceana, an ocean conservation organization, where she worked on the Climate and Energy team advocating for strong environmental policies related to offshore energy. Previously she was a Knauss Fellow in NOAA’s Climate Program Office working on climate change and human health issues, with a focus on extreme heat.

Sarah holds a Ph.D. in Evolutionary Biology and Ecology from Tulane University and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary.
