The BlueGreen Alliance, a national partnership of labor unions and environmental organizations, today announced the organization has endorsed Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick for Congress in the First Congressional District in Pennsylvania.
The endorsement is a recognition of the leadership of Rep. Fitzpatrick to create good-paying union jobs and protect the environment. Rep. Fitzpatrick voted for several key priorities, including the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
“The BlueGreen Alliance is proud to endorse Rep. Fitzpatrick for Congress,” said BlueGreen Alliance Executive Director Jason Walsh. “Our organization is founded on the belief that we don’t have to choose between good jobs and a clean environment; we can and must have both. Rep. Fitzpatrick is a champion for building a clean and prosperous future and is our choice in the First Congressional District in Pennsylvania.”
“We are excited to work alongside Rep. Fitzpatrick in this election and beyond,” said Walsh.
BlueGreen Alliance endorsements may not necessarily be representative of our members’ endorsements. This is the first year that the BlueGreen Alliance is endorsing candidates for Congress. Previously, the organization endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris for President and Vice President of the United States in 2020—the first such endorsement in the organization’s history.
