Yesterday, Senate Democrats, led by Sens. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), Tom Carper (D-Del), and Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) introduced the International Climate Accountability Act, which would ensure the United States remains a party to the Paris Agreement and works to meet its commitments under the agreement. The bill is a companion to H.R. 9, which passed the House of Representative in early May.
