Marty Walsh today was confirmed as the U.S. Secretary of Labor. In response, the BlueGreen Alliance released the following statement from Executive Director Jason Walsh:
“Throughout his career Secretary Walsh has demonstrated that he understands the critical intersection of good jobs and a clean and equitable economy. He comes from a union background and a union town and has been a champion for the rights of working people as a union leader and a Mayor. We congratulate Secretary Walsh on his confirmation and look forward to working with him to build a clean, thriving, and equitable economy.”
