Governor Tim Walz today announced Minnesota would adopt stronger clean car standards.

The announcement comes just days after the Trump administration declared it would revoke authority for states to set vehicle emissions standards more protective than the federal government. In response, the BlueGreen Alliance released a statement from Minnesota Program Manager Bree Halverson: “Governor Walz is showing true leadership to grow jobs in the auto industry in the United States, clean up our air and help address climate change, and save consumers money at the pump.”
