Letter to House Committee on Energy and Commerce on Reopening of TSCA

January 23, 2026

Lautenberg Chemical Safety for the 21st Century Act allowed the EPA to initiate a long overdue effort to review the scientific evidence and restrict the chemicals that were doing the most harm to the health of the American people.

In this letter, BGA opposes the House Committee on Energy and Commerce to reopen the Toxics Substances Control Act.
