Thom Kay is the Program Manager for Energy Transition at the BlueGreen Alliance. In that role, he coordinates the alliance’s federal advocacy efforts on economic recovery and infrastructure investments.

Thom has over a decade of experience working on federal advocacy campaigns. He was most recently the Legislative Director for Appalachian Voices, where he focused on economic development in coal communities and coal waste pollution issues.

He has a BA in Philosophy from Wofford College, and lives with his family in Chapel Hill, NC.
