WASHINGTON, D.C. – BlueGreen Alliance Executive Director Jason Walsh was today appointed to the Foundation for Energy Security and Innovation (FESI) Board of Directors. The FESI is the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) first agency-related foundation and was authorized by the CHIPS and Science Act. The foundation is tasked with speeding commercialization of clean energy technologies by raising and investing funds through the private sector and philanthropic communities.

In response to his appointment, the BlueGreen Alliance released the following statement from Walsh:
